Nails of the Day

Hey Guys!

Today I went to get a manicure and pedicure, so I thought I would show you all. Here’s a picture of my nails.

I don’t paint my nails often since I tend to chip them within 12 hours most times, but I felt like doing them today. I went with a nude color so that it won’t be as noticeable when they do chip. This color is by Essie, but I don’t know what the name is because the label wasn’t on the salon’s bottle. The manicurist did three slightly thick coats to get it this opaque.

I also got my toes painted, but I thought I would spare you all and just take a picture of the bottle, as I know feet gross a lot of people out. I got OPI’s Elephantastic Pink on my toes, which is one of my all time favorites.

lipstick with flash

I purchased this lipstick a little while after it came out. I had to purchase it online because I could not find it in stores (I tried three different stores before giving up). When the lipstick came I was so excited. I think this color is gorgeous. It is a bright (almost neon) coral/pink. I do not usually wear bright lip colors, but I just couldn’t resist this color. It is definitely on trend for this spring and summer. Hopefully I will get more used to wearing bright colors on my lips, so that this lipstick will get some use. The good thing about Viva Glam lipsticks is that all of the proceeds go to HIV/AIDS charities, so even if I don’t wear it often I won’t feel like I have wasted money. The lipstick costs $14.50 and is a satin finish. This allows you to have a more creamy matte finish or a glossy finish if you put a lip-gloss over it.
