It's been a while

hey~
So I know I haven't written in a while. I've just been pretty busy, but I thought I would take the time to tell you about some of my new favs.

I am loving the loreal go 360 clean, particularly the "scrublet". To be honest I don't really use the cleanser although it is a fine cleanser (I got the sensitive skin one), but I am sticking with my philosophy purity cleanser. It's the only think skin related that I haven't changed in over a year and I love it. Back to the scrublet...it is amazing! it removed my blackheads in one use and just gives you an all over clean feeling. Now, I have never owned a clarisonic or anything similar but I imagine this works on the same principal...just costs less money (i think i paid $7 for the cleanser and scrublet).

Yes to Carrots! I recently tried the eye can c clearly now eye cream and i am amazed. I often have dark circles under my eyes partly because of a lack of sleep but mainly because i have horrible allergies to the city i go to college in; this product has made them disappear. I am so happy with this product that i am thinking of buying so many more things. I may even just donate all of the products i currently have and start over with this line.

Also, another brand I like is Alba. It is also a vegetarian line. I really like their toner and vitamin e cream. I have been using this a bit longer than the other. Both Alba and Yes to Carrots products are available at walgreens.

Anyways, that's all I have for now. I'll try to blog again soon.

Cleaning Brushes

hey!
I thought I would post about how often you should clean your brushes in my opinion. I'm not 100% positive what the experts would say, but I think that a light spot cleaning (i use the sephora daily brush cleaner) once a week and a deep cleaning once a month works well. of course if you use your brushes on multiple people not just for personal use, you would need to clean them more often. when you deep clean you should use a baby shampoo or a soap made specifically for cleaning brushes. also remember to keep the brushes facing down when running them under the water so that the water won't touch the glue inside the metal part (leading to shedding).
i hope this is helpful. adios!
